This is the final project I did in Digital Cinematography. This shot was filmed, matchmoved, 3d modeled, lit, textured, and rendered by myself in a week and a half.

Final Intermediate Visual Effects Shot.
This was a piece I did about 6 months ago for a Final in my Intermediate Visual Effects Class. I modeled a CG background, shot live action, tracked the motion of the camera, then matched the motion in CG. All aspects of this project were shot, modeled, tracked, and comped by myself in three weeks.
Sorry for no breakdown, it's on its way
Programs used: Maya 2008, Shake 4.0, PF Track, Adobe After Effects CS3, Photoshop CS3

CG Into Live
This is a CG into Live project where I had to seamlessly integrate a CG object into a live action plate that I had to matchmove. I had modeled a Rickenbacker 4003 bass guitar last year, and so I used that for this project. I tracked this shot in both PF Track and in Maya-Live, and the Maya-Live track came out better. This shot (minus modeling the guitar) a week to complete.

Artist/Client Project.
This is a short Motion Graphics piece I did for my Post Production Management class where a "client" (another classmate) came to me with a project they had in mind, and I had to give them a bid, timeframe in when the animation would be completed, and do all other aspects of the job. My client gave me a commercial for "Vh1" showcasing all of their new television shows. All work was completed within a week and a half.

Live Into Live Sequence.
This is a short sequence I did for a Live Into Live project we had to do. First, we had to choose a movie that was before 1985 to insert a piece of live action to. I chose the Prison sequence from "Star Wars: A New Hope" to insert my character into. All work was shot, comped, and rendered within a week and a half.

Welcome.
This is the temporary website of Stuart Bruzek, Visual Effects Artist. I am currently creating a more permanent website, however I need to put my work up somewhere, so I've decided to showcase through this blog. I will be posting the work I've done over the past few months shortly. Thank you for stopping by...
